What flatback post options are available for Lux Punk’s Threadless Stud earrings?
All Lux Punk Studs come with titanium flatback threadless posts designed with both comfort and style in mind, offering various options to suit your personal preferences and piercing needs.
Gauge Size (post thickness): All our posts are 16 gauge (1.2mm) thick, providing a secure and comfortable fit for most standard ear piercings.
Post Lengths: The standard post length is 6mm, ideal for everyday wear. We also offer 8mm posts for thicker areas and a 5mm post for those who prefer a tighter fit.
Flatback Disc Options:
- 3mm Flatback Disc: Most of our earring ends come with a 3mm flatback disc, which is lightweight and subtle, perfect for a minimalist look.
- 4mm Flatback Disc: Larger or heavier earring ends are paired with a 4mm flatback disc to provide added support and stability.
- Starback Disc: For a unique twist, we offer 4mm star-shaped flatback discs. These "starbacks" not only secure your earring but also add a stylish detail to the back of your ear.

Do Lux Punk Studs have a thicker post than my regular earrings? Can I still wear them?
Flatback earring posts are slightly thicker than traditional butterfly back posts. At Lux Punk, we use 16-gauge posts, which are approximately 1.2mm thick. This is about 0.2 millimeters thicker than standard earrings, which typically use 18-gauge (1.0mm) or 20-gauge (0.8mm) posts.

Enhanced Support: The slightly thicker 16-gauge posts offer better support and durability for your earrings, keeping them securely in place.
Improved Piercing Health: Thicker posts help maintain the size of your piercing hole, reducing the risk of it stretching or elongating over time.
Comfortable Fit: Despite being slightly thicker, 16-gauge posts are designed to fit comfortably in standard ear piercings.
Most people find that the minimal difference in thickness does not affect comfort and appreciate the added benefits of a sturdier post.
How do I choose the right size hoop earrings?
Our titanium hoops are designed for versatility, durability, and style. All hoops are 16 gauge (1.2mm) to ensure a secure and comfortable fit for most ear piercings. Available in four sizes, these hoops offer the perfect fit for any look:
- 8mm: Ideal for snug fits like the helix, forward helix, and lobe piercings close to the edge of the ear like 4th and 5th lobes.
- 9mm: A great choice for standard lobe and cartilage piercings, providing a fitted, but comfortable.
- 10mm: Perfect for 1st and 2nd lobes or when you want a bit more room and movement in your upper lobes or helix.
- 12mm: The go-to for a piece in the conch or larger lobes with room to add a dangle charm.

How do I figure out my ring size?
We use standard US ring sizes to ensure the perfect fit for your fingers. Lux Punk currently offers rings in whole sizes from size 4 to 9, with some styles available in size 10. If you don't find your size, contact us and we may be able to special order for you.
If you're unsure of your size, we recommend using a ring sizing guide or visiting a local jeweler to confirm your size.

Shipping time within the US
Orders should arrive within a few days after shipping. The processing time is up to 2 business days from when the order is placed before being sent out.
International shipping
Currently, Lux Punk does not offer international shipping.

Our sterling silver is nickel-free and plated with white gold to enhance shine, increase longevity, and protect against tarnish. These materials are durable enough to be worn 24/7 but will stay in great condition with some basic care. For all sterling silver and moissanite jewelry, we recommend avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals like cleaning products or perfumes. Gently clean your jewelry with a soft cloth or a mild jewelry cleaner to maintain its luster. Store your rings in a dry, cool place when you're not wearing them to prevent any potential damage or dulling of the finish. With proper care, your rings will keep their bold look for years to come.

Earrings are final sale and cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. Please ensure all returns are in their original packaging. Exchange Policy
Exchanges are available for unworn rings that did not fit or did not meet expectations. You can exchange them for a different size or opt for store credit. Non-Returnable Items
Flatback stud earrings are non-returnable for sanitary reasons. We cannot accept used jewelry due to hygiene concerns.
